We may have asked retail stores to respectfully wait until after Remembrance Day to start playing Christmas music, but that did not mean we weren't in the Christmas spirit. In the month of November alone,
our pre-Christmas spirit was at an all-time high, with Christmas movies airing almost 26% more times than the same time period in 2013! Oddly enough, it has slowed down over this last week before Christmas, dropping just below 2013 levels.
And while most of us probably grew up watching A Christmas Story, reciting ‘You’ll shoot your eye out, kid!’ a new holiday movie has taken top spot on TV these days. Will Ferrell’s Elf has aired over 50 times since beginning of November with not a single station airing A Christmas Story until last night.
